Clara has 25 years experience in database marketing, market research/segmentation, site selection and marketing planning.
She specialized in all aspects of retail banking, first with Idaho First National Bank and then with US Bancorp in Portland where she became Vice President and Manager of Market Research. While there she had the opportunity to develop, design, execute, and report research models that directly influenced the corporate marketing decisions and the growth of US Bancorp. Clara specialized in the areas of customer preferences, behavior, market segmentation, positioning and brand awareness.
After US Bancorp, she joined Database Marketing Agency (DMA), Portland, Oregon, as Market Research Manager where she worked with clients from many different sectors. Clara designed and implemented a wide variety of market research projects including database analysis, regression analysis, predictive modeling, customer-service analysis, customer retention/turnover and active/inactive customer analysis.
Clara joined Vista Market Intelligence in 2002 and has served as its Research Director managing the design, data collection, analysis and recommendations for her clients. Clara Jensen completed her undergraduate work at Boise State University receiving a BBA in Marketing and post-graduate work in social psychology, economics and statistics at Portland State University. Clara has 3 children, loves the summertime sun, gardening, knitting, and drinking Oregon's great Pinot Noirs!
