Julie is a market research professional with more than twenty-five years experience in the market research field and over twenty years of experience moderating focus groups.
Julie spent the first decade of her career in the Bay Area managing research for Pacific Bell Directory’s New Product Development, Product Management and Advertising groups.
After moving to Portland, she spent four years at Gilmore Research Group as an account executive and focus group moderator followed by 15 years as a self-employed consultant and moderator. Ms. Johnson has extensive experience in the areas of brand identity, new product development, concept testing, advertising and public relations research, and customer satisfaction research. She has conducted research on behalf ESPN, Nike, University of Notre Dame, Hewlett Packard, Kaiser Permanente, among others. Ms. Johnson graduated with a degree in Sociology from Santa Clara University. Julie has two grown sons and lives in Lake Oswego, Oregon with her husband and hound dog Hattie. She spends her free time volunteering in her community, reading, hiking and drinking Oregon's great Pinot Noirs (not necessarily in that order).
