Lynda Shay has spent most of her career as a project director for several leading market research companies. She has been involved in projects for a wide range of businesses entailing a variety of research techniques both quantitative and qualitative.
Lynda began her career with Burke Marketing Research as an analyst in their advertising testing department. In San Francisco she worked for Landor Associates specializing in branding, naming and packaging research for companies such as Pacific Bell, AT&T, General Foods and 3M. In addition, she ran her own business conducting research and analyzing data for companies including Levi Strauss and Dole Food. In Portland, Lynda worked as a Project Manager for Market Decisions Corporation where she gained expertise in technology research (Microsoft, Intel) and utilities (PG&E, Northwest Natural Gas).
Lynda has been with Vista for 9 years always demonstrating an exceptional ability to understand client needs translated into actionable research. Today she suffers from an incurable travel bug and likes nothing better than planning her next trip as well as gardening, cooking, working on her 100 year old home and drinking Oregon's great Pinot Noirs!
