For
30-years David has worked in media, advertising, marketing,
software and database development and sales management.
David’s career has focused and specialized on bridging
the gap between the advertiser and the media, in order to make
advertising work better and more efficiently for the advertiser.
David is widely credited with developing syndicated research
for the broadcast industry to help advertisers use the media
to communicate more efficiently and effectively. The model he
developed in the early 1980s is still in wide use today.
Later, David, as Partner and Executive Vice President of BMP
Software, helped develop and market the first PC-based software
for television sales research, avails and packaging.
David is also President of Ludwig & Associates, Inc. The
company is a sales and marketing consulting firm that shows
media companies how to help local businesses achieve maximum
sales and earnings from their advertising.
Prior to his broadcasting career, Dave was a high school teacher
and wrestling coach and an officer in the United States Marine
Corps. He is a graduate of The Pennsylvania State University
with a BS in Secondary Education/English.
